Reservations and Payments:

  • Reservations can be made by email or telephone.  The fastest way to communicate with management is via email.

  • Upon requesting a reservation, your lease agreement will be emailed to you for your signature.  

  • Your signed lease agreement will hold your reservation for 2 weeks from the date the lease was emailed to you.

  • Beyond two weeks, a deposit will secure your reservation until 90 days prior to your arrival date.

  • Within 90 days of your arrival date, the balance of your lodging is due.

  • Housekeeping expenses will be invoices after your departure (See housekeeping section below).

Cancellations:

Deposits are fully refundable if you cancel 60 days or more prior to your reserved arrival date.

No refund if you cancel less than 60 days before your arrival date.

Sales Taxes:

  • Sales tax totaling 11.3% is charged for short term lodging.  Stays of 30 days or more are exempt from sales tax.

Housekeeping:

Housekeeping services are billed above the base rental rate at $30.00 per hour.  One cleaning per week is the minimum, but you may have maid service as often as your group requires.  Please inform management of your housekeeping requirements at least 60 days prior to your arrival.

Arrival and Departure Times:

  • Arrival / Check In time is after 4:00 PM on the day of your arrival.

  • Departure / Check Out time is no later that 12:00 PM on the day of your departure.

  • Note:  These times are to allow for cleaning between rentals.  If no other reservations are booked before or after your stay, management will be flexible with your arrival and departure times.

Arrival:

Along with your lease agreement, you will be sent the "Cascade West Guest Guide".  The guide will detail instructions about how to find the house and operate the keyless front door.  The guide also illustrates how to operate the mechanical systems in the house (heat, fireplaces, telephones, etc) and contains telephone numbers and information to help make your stay in Aspen more enjoyable. 

Your Shoes:

The house has light colored carpeting.  It looks great, but people need to be conscious of not tracking dirt onto it.  I ask that you please remove your shoes in the foyer before venturing into the carpeted area of the house.  Fewer carpet cleanings helps keep rental prices as low as possible..

There is one (1) telephone line at Cascade West.  Local calls and long distance calls are FREE!
